Codecademy Courses

Codecademy is an online learning platform that focuses on teaching programming and data science skills through interactive lessons. It offers a catalogue of 49 courses, with 30 courses listed on CoursesGlobal. Many of its courses provide free access to content, allowing learners to start coding without upfront costs. For some courses and to earn certificates, a paid subscription or one-off payment is required.

All 30 Codecademy courses listed on CoursesGlobal offer a certificate of completion. For courses with a price, the cost is approximately ₹2111, as of September 2026. This price range applies to paid courses like Learn Python 3 and Learn Data Analysis with Pandas. Codecademy courses are self-paced, which means you can learn at your own speed.

Codecademy is ideal for beginners who want to learn programming or data science. The platform's interactive approach helps new learners grasp concepts quickly. For example, the Learn SQL course is free, takes 5 hours, and has a rating of 4.6 from over 20K+ ratings, making it a strong choice for those starting with databases. Similarly, the free Introduction to UI and UX Design course is a good starting point for design enthusiasts.

The platform is less suited for learners seeking advanced, in-depth specializations or university-accredited degrees, as its focus is on practical coding skills rather than academic credentials.

• Is it worth paying for Codecademy?
Paying for Codecademy can be worthwhile for access to more advanced content, career paths, and certificates. Many core Java, SQL, and Python courses are available for free.
