The qualification route in India
Most employers expect a bachelor’s degree in any discipline, though degrees in commerce, statistics or computer science are common. No statutory licence is required to work as a Business Analyst, but the IIBA® ECBA™ certification is widely recognised. Many professionals enter the role after completing online courses that cover SQL, Excel and requirements-gathering frameworks.
